ALI'S ADVENTURES
Ali's adventures investigate various aspects of
international management. The articles follows the adventures of Ali
during a major international assignment. These include encountering and
resolving a variety of problems that can occur in any international
project. Whilst the adventures refer to a specific person,
working on a specific project. Most of the adventures could relate to
anybody working on a variety of projects.
Loosely based on true tales. The adventures illustrates some of the
difficulties encountered whilst working on international projects. Any resemblance to any aspect of
the real world is purely coincidental.
Ali is a senior manager working for a major
international joint venture project. Recently appointed as the project manager for the UK
element of the InterComm project, Ali is responsible for all aspects of the
project, including integration with partners systems. Ali is now getting up
to speed with the details of the project and the new responsibilities it
entails.
