As part of the provision of managed telecom services, there was a need to define a new billing system architecture for global calling cards.
The architecture would be based
on the development of client server applications. In addition,
a new customer service front-end application, and a new billing application,
together with customer interfaces, would be needed.

tier client server application, using
various applications such as NT 4.0, VB6,
SQL Server 6.5, MTS, Com and Dcom. |

Define target business areas for direct marketing of new global calling cards. |

Development of training modules for
Call Centre
agents, fulfillment and customer service staff on all aspects of the Customer Management System. |

Prepare and dispatch
first runs of direct marketing materials. |

Produce the first bills from the new billing system. |

Ensure operational support
was provided from the start date of the live system. |
Outcomes
Completion of all Call Centre agent training, in time for new direct marketing campaign.
Successful migration of 140,000 customers onto new system.
